AAHA Accredited

History

West Caldwell Animal Hospital was built in the early 1960’s and has operated from the same location ever since. The advantage of practicing in the same location for so long is the satisfaction associated with knowing pets their entire lives; in some cases our adult clients started coming when they were children with their first pets. In this way the WCAH has built relationships with several generations within individual families. This kind of continuity makes our work especially rewarding. In 1964 it first received accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and it has maintained uninterrupted accreditation since then. AAHA is a strictly voluntary organization that sets standards for small animal practice. This involves rigorous on-site reviews and continuous self-evaluation. This conforms to our mission to provide excellent care to family pets.
